Course
Understanding and Meeting IFRS S1 and S2 Requirements in Malaysia
Overview
With Bursa Malaysia mandating IFRS S1 and S2 aligned sustainability disclosures for Main Market listed issuers from financial years beginning on or after 1 January 2025, and the ACE Market following in 2027, organisations across the Malaysian economy need to understand what these standards require and how to meet them operationally.
This intensive, practically focused course takes participants through both standards in detail, with particular attention to how they apply within the Malaysian regulatory context. Rather than simply explaining the theory, the course walks participants through the practical steps involved in building an IFRS aligned disclosure process, from governance structures and risk identification through to metrics, targets and transition planning.
Participants will leave with a clear understanding of their obligations, a practical roadmap for implementation, and the confidence to lead their organisation through its first reporting cycle.
